Dr. Shivani Sharma is an active member of Green Chemistry Network Centre (GCNC). She received her B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in 2008 and M.Sc. degree (specialization in Inorganic Chemistry) in 2010 from Ramjas College, University of Delhi, India. She then joined “Green Chemistry Network Centre” as a research scholar under the guidance of Professor R. K. Sharma. Her research work is based on the design and development of silica based organic–inorganic hybrid nonmaterial’s and their applications in the field of sensors and catalysis. She has several publications in eminent journals of Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) and American Chemical Society (ACS). Her review article “Silica-nanosphere-based organic–inorganic hybrid nonmaterial’s: synthesis, fictionalization and applications in catalysis” is one of the top downloaded articles in Green Chemistry in the year 2016. She has also been actively involved in writing book chapters of renowned RSC Green Chemistry Series and World Scientific Publications. She was awarded doctoral degree in the year 2017 and is presently working as an Assistant Professor in department of chemistry, Ramjas College.
